Speaker Highlight: Dr Akif Eskalen

Dr. Eskalen is a Professor of Cooperative Extension in the plant pathology department at UC Davis. He is a featured presenter at the 2022 Sustainable Ag Expo. He will dive into the identification, biology, epidemiology, and new management strategies for grapevine trunk diseases (GTD), including pruning wound protection trials that his lab has been running for the last few years. Eskalen will also discuss Aspergillus vine canker, a new canker disease of GTD in California.
